How the Status Page works

This page provides full transparency on the health of Managed Server services. Below is an explanation of what you see, how alerts are generated and how the platform monitors infrastructure in real time.

Overall status

At the top of the status page there is a global indicator that summarizes the state of the entire infrastructure:

  • All systems operational — no issues currently reported.
  • Reduced performance — minor degradation without service interruption.
  • Partial outage — a subset of services is experiencing problems.
  • Critical issues — major disruption affecting core components.
  • Maintenance in progress — planned activity in progress on the systems.

When announcements or scheduled maintenance are active, you will also see two contextual badges below the main status indicator:

Alert categories

Announcements

Informational announcements that do not necessarily represent a service disruption (e.g. policy changes, new services, operational communications).

Scheduled maintenance

Planned interventions, shown with start and end date. Each maintenance can be added to your personal calendar via the dedicated buttons on the detail page — Google Calendar, Outlook, Office 365 and the universal iCal (.ics) format are supported:

Incidents

Actual service issues. Each incident has a severity level:

  • Minor — limited impact, possibly only on a subset of users or features.
  • Major — significant disruption on one or more services.
  • Critical — severe or widespread interruption.

Infrastructure status (last 30 days)

The daily bars below this heading represent the state of the last 30 days for each monitored node. Each square is one day:

  • Day with no issues
  • Minor downtime
  • Major downtime
  • Critical downtime
  • Service degradation — issue detected but service still reachable (e.g. low disk space)
  • Scheduled maintenance only
Only real downtime (services unreachable) affects the visual color of the day and the bar coloring. Service degradations are reported for transparency but do not represent service unavailability.

Automatic alerts [Auto]

Alerts prefixed with [Auto] are generated automatically by our monitoring platform. A dedicated Linux agent is installed on managed systems and collects health parameters at regular intervals (typically every 60 seconds):

  • Node availability (heartbeat)
  • CPU load
  • RAM memory usage
  • Disk space per partition
  • Storage health (SMART, RAID arrays)
  • Network traffic
  • Status of critical services (database, web, mail, etc.)

When one of these metrics exceeds a configured threshold for a sustained period (to avoid false positives), the system automatically opens an incident on the Status Page and dispatches notifications to the operations team. When the value returns to normal parameters, the incident is automatically resolved after a short observation window.

Disk space — special case

Disk space follows the same logic: when usage exceeds the critical threshold (e.g. 90%) it is reported as "Critical disk space"; only when reaching ≥99.9% does it become "Disk full". These alerts do not necessarily represent downtime — the service may still be operational — and are therefore not counted in uptime calculations, but are surfaced for transparency.

Urgent notices and push notifications

Urgent top bar

If one or more announcements have an urgent character, they are shown at the top of every page with a colored banner. If multiple urgent notices are active simultaneously they rotate automatically every few seconds.

Push notifications

At the bottom of the page the "Subscribe to notifications" option is available: by enabling it, you will receive a browser push notification whenever a new announcement or scheduled maintenance is published. You can unsubscribe at any time. Subscription is anonymous and does not require email or account.

Incident history

The "Recent incidents" section shows the chronology of resolved incidents organized by day. Today is always expanded; previous days are collapsible — click on the day to show or hide its incidents. Incidents older than seven days are grouped under "Previous".

For each closed incident the cause, timeline of operational updates and — where present — a final Post-Mortem with root cause analysis are shown.

Transparency

All data shown comes directly from our internal monitoring system, without unnecessary filtering or delays. Incidents are published even when they have limited impact, to ensure maximum transparency for customers.
